Folk Art horse in oak, first half of the 20th century.
Beautifully made horse in oak and straw. Great proportions and size, with a very honest patina and some interesting wood grain which only adds to the charm of this Folk Art horse. Presumably made by a skilled craftsman at home. The construction with different pieces of wood and wood joints is very visible and therefore this horse is also very interesting as a piece of antique wood working. Very honest condition, with some missing straw and some wear and patina on the wood which in our opinion only adds to the charm.
Very decorative and an interesting piece of Folk Art. A real testament of craftsmanship to the man or woman who made this horse a long time ago.
