This is a wonderful unique studio pottery dish by the famous Belgian pottery workshop Guérin, at that time under guidance of Jules Guérin - the son of Roger Guérin. A very distinct piece with a stunning color - ‘Sang de Boeuf’ red. Thick and rich glaze, with wonderful sea blue / green details and a very distinct hand made quality to it. Very elegant and timeless. A wonderful piece to enjoy on your desk, sideboard or table. A great and unique piece of mid-century Belgian studio pottery from the Charleroi region, the center of the Walloon art pottery production in the middle of the 20th century.
